A Sudbury man has been charged with sexual assault against a female dating back to events that are alleged to have occurred in 1987.
An OPP investigation began in March when police received a complaint.
The allegation deals with an incident involving a young female.
Ernest Patrick Gregoire, 72, was charged with one count of sexual assault.
