Man killed in accident

A 32-year-old Sudbury man died in a two-car collision around 9 am Monday on the Big Nickel Mine Road. Police identified the victim as Alain Blais. He was alone in the car he was driving.

At press time special services/traffic officers from Greater Sudbury Police were reconstructing the incident in an effort to determine the cause of the collision.

Roads in Sudbury were slushy at the time of the accident.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 23-year Naughton woman, suffered non-life threatening injuries in the incident and was treated at hospital.

There were no passengers in her vehicle.
