Passersby likely thought it a strange sight: An OPP cruiser on the side of Highway 94, lights flashing, parked behind ... a lawn tractor.

On July 21 just before noon, officers from the OPP's Powassan Detachment were patrolling Highway 94 in Callander, just south of North Bay, when they came upon a lawn tractor pulling a wagon down the road.

Officers pulled the vehicle over, discovering in the process the driver's licence was under suspension. Police also discovered the driver was wanted by Greater Sudbury Police Service.
