Police are searching for a couple of thieves after a man was robbed Sunday while sitting in his parked car outside of Tim Hortons on Cedar St.

Police are searching for a couple of thieves after a man was robbed Sunday while sitting in his parked car outside of Tim Hortons on Cedar St.

According to the victim, it was around midnight when two men entered the vehicle, one in the passenger seat, one in the back seat. Using threats of physical violence, the two men supposedly stole money and cigarettes before escaping on foot.

The man in the front seat is described as black, around 30-years-old, 250 pounds, and around five-feet-nine inches with a heavy build. He wore a red toque, a puffy, grey bomber-style jacket and had a scruffy beard.

The second man is described as black, about six feet tall, skinny build and approximately 30-years-old.

Police search for missing Sudbury woman

Police are also requesting public assistance in finding Daphne Kochar, 42, who was last seen in Sudbury on Sunday morning.

Kochar is described as East Indian, five feet tall, 175 pounds, with short, straight brown hair and brown eyes. She is operating a dark blue, 2005 Honda Odyssey, licence plate number is AVTC 299.
