Greater Sudbury Police Service’s Criminal Investigations Division is investigating a stabbing that took place Thursday around 8:30 a.m.
“It is believed that this event may have taken place in the area of Regent Street and Elm Street, within the City of Greater Sudbury,” police said in a news release. “The victim is a 37-year-old male who was treated at Health Sciences North.”
The victim is in hospital in serious but stable condition. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Greater Sudbury Police Service at 705-675-9171, or Crime Stoppers at 705-222-8477.
