A 19-year-old man from Sudbury was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle after he was found doing donuts in the Sudbury OPP detachment parking lot on Nov. 20. File photo.

On Nov. 20, members of the Sudbury OPP were at their detachment when they heard an engine revving and tires squealing somewhere close by — really close by.

Stepping outside the building, officers watched as a vehicle squealed a "donut" in the detachment parking lot as the male driver screamed profanities at the officers through an open window.

The driver, a 19-year-old man from Sudbury, was arrested charged with dangerous operation of motor vehicle.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury, on Dec. 21.
