Two adults and a child were displaced after a minor fire in one unit of a Mountain Street apartment building March 31.

Greater Sudbury Fire Services say they were called to the fire just before 2 p.m. The blaze involved a pot on the stove, and was put out with a fire extinguisher. The kitchen suffered smoke damage, and there was also damage to the stove.

The Red Cross is providing accommodations to the affected residents until the apartment can be repaired.
