Before they were located, the teens had last been seen about 2 p.m. Aug. 5, when they left a residence to go to a store in the Lasalle Boulevard area.

Original story:

The Greater Sudbury Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating two missing youths.

Police received information that the two teens left a residence at about 2 p.m. Tuesday to attend a store at Lasalle Boulevard and Montrose Avenue area, a short distance away from where they were staying. They have not been seen since. Foul play is not suspected.

Police are looking for Jade Presseau, a 15-year-old boy, who is described as Caucasian, with medium-length brown hair and blue eyes. He is about 5-10 and 165 lbs. with a medium build. He was wearing a white T-shirt with a red symbol on the front and black/red/white shorts. He also wears glasses.

Police are also looking for Kiara Rees, a 14-year-old girl, described as Caucasian, with long black hair and brown eyes. She is about 5-6 and between 160-180 lbs. with a heavy build. She was wearing a black sleeveless dress with a flower pattern on it and black slip on shoes.

Their current whereabouts are unknown and police are requesting if you see either of these parties to contact the Greater Sudbury Police Service at 705-675-9171.

Staff Sgt. Marc Brunette said police are concentrating their search efforts on the wooded area north of the Adanac Ski Hill, south of Lasalle Boulevard.

“There is an extensive network of walking trails there,” Brunette said. “There is nothing to suggest foul play is involved.”
