Greater Sudbury Police will not be charging the driver who hit a pedestrian on Notre Dame Ave. last week.
David Jong Hoon Rickets, 21, from Carlton Place, was killed March 21 at around 1:20 pm when he stepped of the curb and into a northbound lane on Notre Dame Ave. He was struck by a pickup truck being driven by a local man.
Police say the evidence provided by several witnesses revealed that the driver of the truck didn't have enough time to react when Rickets stepped off the curb.
