Update: July 20, 2:30 p.m.

Greater Sudbury Police Service Traffic Management Unit Officers have concluded their preliminary investigation into the collision that claimed the life of a Greater Sudbury man.

An examination of the scene and involved vehicles, combined with witness statements has revealed that a small silver sedan, travelling West on Lasalle Boulevard, crossed the centre line into the path of a tractor trailer travelling east, causing a head-on collision.

Collision Investigators also determined that the tractor trailer operator was travelling within the posted speed limit and within its lane on the roadway.

There will be no charges laid in this collision.
