A Barrie resident has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash on Highway 69 near French River on July 6, said provincial police.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to a single motor-vehicle crash involving a pickup truck. The highway was closed for six hours, and the preliminary investigation revealed the pickup truck crossed the centre line while travelling south and collided with a rock cut.
The driver, Craig Bagshaw, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is continuing and the OPP is appealing to the public for information.
