Several Greater Sudbury Police*** officers were searching the side of the road on Highway 17 near Coniston this morning.
Sudbury.com has a call into police to find out more.
However, officers on the scene told us they're doing a search for possible evidence related to an incident in Wahnapitae earlier this month where a man was shot, sustaining serious injuries.
Two men were later charged with attempted murder in the case.
