Missing Elliot Lake man found in good health

A missing Elliot Lake man with ties to Sudbury was located safely and in good health on Sunday.

Lawrence Boyd, 34, of Elliot Lake was reported missing on the morning of Aug. 12. He was last seen leaving St Joseph's General Hospital shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday morning.

He is described as white, approximately 5-7 tall, weighing 140 pounds with a slim build. He has brown hair trimmed into a buzzcut, hazel eyes, and is unshaven. Describing his appearance as "clean," police said he was wearing a baggy grey hoody, baggy shorts, neon green running shoes, a baseball cap and carrying a black and grey packsack when he was last seen.

Boyd was located in good health late Sunday afternoon in Greater Sudbury.  The OPP would like to thank the public for their assistance.
