Greater Sudbury Police Services Cst. Bert Lapalme displays 14 rifles, 14 handguns and eight shotguns that have been turned in during the unregistered/unwanted firearms reprieve. Police have also collected 1,081 pieces of ammunition as well.

Police have also collected 1,081 pieces of ammunition as well. Citizens turning in unregistered and unwanted firearms and ammunition will not face possession charges. The program ends April 15. Firearms collected will be destroyed.
