Updated at 10:29 a.m.: Traffic is moving normally on Lasalle Boulevard following a crash earlier this morning involving a pedestrian. 

Greater Sudbury Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash. There's no word yet on whether charges will be laid. The extent of the pedestrian's injuries are also unknown at this time, though police have said they are non-life threatening.

A pedestrian was struck and injured while crossing the intersection of Lasalle Boulevard and Attlee Avenue this morning.

Greater Sudbury Police said the accident happened not long after 9 a.m. this morning. 

The injured man has been transported by ambulance to Health Sciences North with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are still on the scene, so motorists in the area should expect delays. Officers are directing traffic, which is flowing slowly.
