Police apprehend two suspects

Two suspects in a number of bank robberies in Kitchener-Waterloo, Hamilton and Niagara Falls were apprehended Thursday afternoon in the area of Lansdowne Street in the Donovan section of Sudbury.
Two suspects in a number of bank robberies in Kitchener-Waterloo, Hamilton and Niagara Falls were apprehended Thursday afternoon in the area of Lansdowne Street in the Donovan section of Sudbury.

Local resident Daniel Desmoker and Daniel Sanko of Southern Ontario, both 28, were arrested just before 3 pm on Canada-wide warrants for parole violation issued Feb. 8.

Members of the police emergency response unit made the arrest. Police received a tip the two men were in town and both were arrested without incident. Police from southern Ontario are expected in town this week.
