Police catch ATV driver on snowmobile trails

Greater Sudbury Police say they charged an ATV driver with trespassing after finding the operator driving on a snowmobile trial. “This is not a snowmachine,” police said in a Feb. 19 Facebook post. “It is not allowed on groomed OFSC trails.

Greater Sudbury Police say they charged an ATV driver with trespassing after finding the operator driving on a snowmobile trial.

“This is not a snowmachine,” police said in a Feb. 19 Facebook post.

“It is not allowed on groomed OFSC trails. Yesterday, GSPS Rural Community Response Unit Officers were on snowmobile patrol and came across one of these on a groomed trail. The operator was charged with trespassing. Ride safe Greater Sudbury.”
