Police charged one driver for operating a vehicle with double the legal alcohol limit during checks through the RIDE program early Sunday morning on Howey Drive and Lorne Street.

Police said they checked 384 vehicles, and issued one three-day licence suspension, one 90-day suspension, for the drunk driving charge, and issued 11 charges for Highway Traffic Act offences, including two drivers who had suspended licences.
