Update: Road cleared after truck collides with school bus

No injuries to students have been reported from a crash this morning between a school bus and a vehicle on Notre Dame Avenue in Azilda. (Staff)

The roadway has been cleared at Notre Dame Avenue in Azilda after a passenger vehicle and a school bus collided this morning.

There were no injuries to the driver of the bus or any of the passengers.

Notre Dame Avenue in Azilda westbound remains closed following a school bus crash about 30 minutes ago.

Police, fire and EMS are all on scene. The driver of the vehicle has been transported to hospital. The extent of the person’s injuries are unknown at this time.

The crash occurred between Montée Principale Rose Street.

Students on the bus were checked by paramedics. The students and bus driver were uninjured. A second bus transported the students to school. 

Eastbound lanes are open.
