Greater Sudbury Police tweeted Friday that the coroner has advised that the death of a 56-year-old Levack man was accidental.

The matter remains a coroner's investigation.

The scene has been released, Greater Sudbury Police said in a tweet. The coroner's investigation continues, while Greater Sudbury Police detectives continue to assist.

The investigation into the sudden death of a 56-year-old Levack man is ongoing, Greater Sudbury Police said in a tweet.

Detectives are interviewing witnesses and officers are canvassing neighbours.

Greater Sudbury Police say they're investigating the sudden death of a 56-year-old man.

In a tweet issued at 3:25 p.m., police said they're on scene on Third Avenue in Levack, assisting the coroner in the investigation.

The body was discovered at around 8 a.m. Monday, police say.

They're asking for public assistance. Anyone with information is asked to phone Greater Sudbury Police's criminal investigation division at 705-675-9171.
