Police investigate armed robbery

Greater Sudbury Police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store on Madison Ave. Friday Feb. 24 around 11 pm. Police said a man entered the store carrying an edged weapon, demanding cash from the female clerk.

Police said a man entered the store carrying an edged weapon, demanding cash from the female clerk. The culprit fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is between five foot six and five foot eight inches tall, between 18 and 23 years old and has brown hair. He was wearing sunglasses, a black bandanna, a tuque and a black hooded sweater with white lettering on it.
