Greater Sudbury Police Services have launched an investigation after a man was assaulted on Colonial Court in New Sudbury last night.
The call came into GSPS at 10:45 p.m. police tweeted.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
The incident is believed to be an isolated incident and not a random act.
