Police seek help identifying driver of vehicle involved in Feb. 8 crash on Paris Street

Greater Sudbury Police is seeking help in identifying the driver of a vehicle that failed to remain at the scene of a crash on Feb. 8.

The crash happened at the intersection of Cedar Street and Paris Street. The vehicle is described as a black four-door Nissan hatchback. It was heading south on Paris Street towards the Bridge of Nations when it collided with a silver four-door Kia sedan.

Three occupants of the Nissan fled on foot before police could arrive.

The driver of the Kia was taken to hospital with minor injuries, and there was substantial damage to both vehicles, said police.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, has information related to the involved individuals or knows the identity of the driver at the time of the collision is asked to contact the investigating officer by email at [email protected]
