Greater Sudbury Police Service is asking for help to identify the owner or rider of a dirt bike found abandoned on Feb. 19 after the rider fled police.
At 11:45 a.m., officers attempted to stop a dirt bike going eastbound on Dominion Drive in Hanmer.
The dirt bike was later found abandoned on Guenette Drive. Also found was the jackets, helmet and gloves worn by the rider.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Greater Sudbury Police Service at 705-675-9171.
The dirt bike is described as:
- 1983 Kawasaki, model KX1, green in colour.
The helmet is described as:
- Brand: EVS
- Red and white in color
The jacket is described as:
- Brand: Canada Weather Gear
- Black in color with red stripes
