Police seeking information related to theft from Espanola business

The Manitoulin-Espanola OPP are requesting the assistance of the public in relation to a theft from a business in Espanola.

The Manitoulin-Espanola OPP are requesting the assistance of the public in relation to a theft from a business in Espanola.

On Friday Oct. 12 at around 7:56 a.m., officers from the Manitoulin-Espanola OPP responded to a theft in progress from a business on Panache Lake Road in the Town of Espanola.

With the assistance of the OPP Emergency Response Team and the OPP Canine Unit, officers weren't able to locate the suspect(s). The damage to the building and theft are estimated to be over $5,000.

The investigation is continuing and OPP are asking that any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this incident should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
