Police seeking man allegedly involved in violent home invasion

Ontario Provincial Police and the Greater Sudbury Police Service have outstanding warrants for the arrest of Devland McCoshen, 38.

On July 26, the Greater Sudbury Police Service were called out to a report of a home invasion at a residence in the downtown area.

Police allege McCoshen was involved in that crime, and that he assaulted the homeowner, causing injuries that required medical attention. 

The suspects were armed with weapons and an undisclosed amount of money was stolen during the incident, police reported

McCoshen is wanted for:

  • Robbery with a Firearm
  • Break Enter and Commit
  • Aggravated Assault
  • Utter Threats
  • Use Firearm in the Commission of an Offense
  • Breach of Probation

McCoshen stands 5-8 and weighs 200 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a distinguishing scar on his forehead.
