Rainbow Crime Stoppers and the Greater Sudbury Police Service are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect they say shoplifted three times from the same retailer.

On Oct. 1, 2 and 15, a man attended a retailer on Lasalle Boulevard near Barrydowne Road and selected merchandise.

On all occasions he was captured on video and seen to leave the premises without offering to pay for the merchandise.

The man is described as being about 40 to 50 years old with a dark thin beard, dark moustache and hair. He is of "wide girth," police said, and has been seen wearing loose fitting t-shirts and jeans, with a grey hoody.

The estimated value of the stolen property is more than $500.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Greater Sudbury Police at 705-675-9171 or Crime Stoppers at 705-222-TIPS (8477) or www.sudburycrimestoppers.com.
