Chief Ian Davidson is hoping to bring in two officers immediately and four more prior to 2006. The rest would be brought on board in the new year.

"In our particular case we applied for 15 and received 14 and I'm very happy about that because the program is oversubscribed in Northern Ontario," said Davidson.
