Increasing community awareness of the diversity of the Greater Sudbury Police Service within our community is the focus of Police Week 2003.
Police Week was officially launched Monday with a special kickoff press conference at Tom Davies Square.
Greater Sudbury Police is again offering a mall display during Police Week at the New Sudbury Centre through Thursday. The display will feature artifacts from the Police Museum, a police motorcycle and home and personal safety information.
Police Week was first celebrated across Canada in 1970 and promotes police and community working together to enhance public safety and security.
