A preliminary hearing was held Friday against a local man charged with kicking a stranger in the head outside a Chelmsford bar last summer.
Kristopher Dupuis is charged with aggravated assault for an incident outside the hotel last August 31.
Justice Yvon Renaud ordered a ban on publication of evidence presented at Friday?s preliminary hearing. Renaud will rule if there?s sufficient evidence for Dupuis, 23, to stand trial.
Dupuis is charged with allegedly kicking a stranger in the head during a dispute outside the bar, causing the man to suffer a fractured skull and broken ankle.
