Updated:Minor injuries in two-vehicle collision on Regent this morning

A two-vehicle collision between a pick-up truck and transport truck on Regent Street near the Cardinal Inn at around 6:38 a.m. this morning caused minor injuries, according to Greater Sudbury Police Staff Sgt. Valerie Tiplady. The road is now fully reopened. "The matter is under investigation," Tiplady said.

Greater Sudbury Police's uniform patrol issued the following tweet on its Twitter page at around 7 a.m.:

“Temp. rd. closure both directions on Regent St. by Arnold St., Sudbury due to a collision. Alternate routes recommended. Updates to follow.”
