The Sudbury Detachment of the OPP is investigating a fatal vehicle accident that occurred Sunday on Highway 69 near Richard Lake.
At approximately 9:35 am, a Ford pick-up truck was travelling south on the highway.
The vehicle went out of control, struck a snow bank and rolled over into the ditch.
Marilyn Ruth Purdy, 67, of Tennets Point Lane, Kagawong, a passenger, was ejected from the vehicle and killed.
The driver of the vehicle and another passenger were transported to the hospital and were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
