Greater Sudbury Police say Municipal Road 80 remains closed at Donaldson Crescent as officers continue to investigate the collision.
Traffic is now being rerouted in both directions at the scene. Motorists are told to expect delays in the area.
A 46-year-old man has sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash.
