Updated: One person taken to hospital after Skead Road collision

Motorists looking to get to the airport must do so via Garson route

One person has been transported to Health Sciences North with non-life threatening injuries following a collision on Skead Road this afternoon.

Both vehicles involved in the collision were overturned. The driver of the other vehicle is in stable condition.

Greater Sudbury Police closed a section of the road and motorists looking to get to Greater Sudbury Airport may access it via the Garson (Nickel Centre) route, but not via Hanmer.
