A 23-year-old man remains in critical condition after he was found near the train tracks in Azilda, said Greater Sudbury Police Service, though how he got there and what happened still remain a mystery.

Police received a call shortly before noon on Sept. 1.* When officers arrived, they found the man suffering from serious injuries. He was taken to Health Sciences North, where he remains in critical condition.

The circumstances leading up to the incident are being investigated by the CP Police, said Greater Sudbury Police Service.
