Updated:Girl, 12, who was reported missing Sunday has returned home

A missing 12-year-old girl has returned home, Greater Sudbury Police have confirmed. The girl's mother posted the following on Facebook around 8:25 a.m. "She’s home! Thank you all!"

Greater Sudbury Police are requesting the public's assistance to locate a 12-year-old girl.

Police say she was last seen at around 3:15 p.m. Sunday afternoon in the New Sudbury area. It is believed she may still be in New Sudbury.

She's described as being 5-1, 110 pounds, with long, straight hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, grey jogging pants and white Adidas running shoes.
