Sudbury OPP responded to more than 350 calls for service in February

Property crimes topped the list of charges laid by Sudbury OPP last month

During the month of February the Sudbury OPP detachment responded to 366 calls for service.

Among the calls, the police service responded to 20 motor vehicle collisions.

Charges laid over the course of last month included:

  • Thirteen property-related charges
  • Five impaired-related charges
  • One drug-related charge
  • Five violence-related charges

"Officers of the Sudbury Detachment and the Highway Safety Division, patrol the highways to ensure road safety and conduct traffic enforcement throughout the Sudbury, Noelville, Markstay-Warren and Killarney areas," said an OPP news release.

"If you plan on drinking or consuming drugs, plan to not drive. Instead arrange for a designated driver, take a taxi or public transit, stay overnight or stay home."
