Greater Sudbury Police say one person is in custody after a shooting on Rita Street in Hanmer Sunday evening.
Police announced the incident on Twitter shortly before 8 p.m.
EMS transported both the victim and the suspect to Health Sciences North.
Police said there is no concern for public safety.
An investigation is ongoing.
