Update:
Shortly before 4 p.m., Greater Sudbury Police Service noted that two Canada Revenue Agency Taxation Centre employees experienced a burning sensation on their hands after handling one of two suspicious packages at the Sudbury centre on Wednesday afternoon.
They were medically cleared by paramedics, and the burning subsided, according to police.
The second package was opened, and an employee found paper and a rock inside. It was deemed suspicious by an employee, who alerted police.
Both packages were tested by Greater Sudbury Fire Services, and there was determined to have been no threat to the general public.
The packages were secured and taken by a waste disposal company for further examination.
