Sudbury OPP responded to a three-vehicle collision on Highway 144 in Chelmsford on March 7 at 5:45 p.m.

Investigation revealed that a vehicle travelling northbound on Highway 144 rear-ended another northbound vehicle that was stopped at a traffic light at the intersection of Edward Street.

The second vehicle involved then struck another northbound vehicle stopped at the traffic light.

As a result of the investigation, a 39-year-old woman from Chelmsford was charged with follow too closely, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
