Three people charged for printing fake cheques

Three people face fraud-related charges after allegedly printing fake cheques, said Greater Sudbury Police Service.

Police executed a search warrant at a Sudbury residence Jan. 14. During the search, police found several fraudulent cheques, a laptop, a printer and Canadian currency.

Two men and a woman are charged with fraud, possession of property obtained by crime, uttering forged documents and other Criminal Code offences. The two men were also wanted on outstanding warrants in other jurisdictions.
