A tractor-trailer driver sustained minor injuries in a collision with another tractor-trailer on Highway 69 early this morning, said the Ontario Provincial Police.
A northbound tractor-trailer crossed the centre line around 5 a.m. and hit a southbound tractor-trailer, which caught fire.
The driver, a 59-year-old man from Etobicoke, escaped. He was treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the northbound tractor-trailer and his passenger, both from Hamilton, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver, 43, has been charged with careless driving.
Two passenger vehicles following the southbound tractor-trailer at the time of the crash were damaged after hitting debris on the highway. None of the occupants were injured.
Highway 69 south of Highway 64 near Alban is open to one lane following a crash involving two tractor trailers, said the Ontario Provincial Police.
The highway was closed this morning around 5:40 a.m.
