OPP have closed the highway as they investigate

Four people were killed Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 101, South Porcupine Ontario Provincial Police said in a news release.

The collision took place 70 kilometres west of Timmins.

“It has been confirmed that two adults and two children have been killed as a result of the collision,” the OPP said in a news release. “One other involved adult has been transported to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.”

OPP technical collision investigators have been called in to help with the investigation and the highway remains closed.
