Update: MR35 Now reopened following collision

Update: MR35 is now fully open.

 

 

Original Story:

Greater Sudbury Police Service is investigating a serious motor-vehicle collision on Elm Street near Clarabelle. Traffic has been reduced to one lane in each direction. 

GSPS is requesting the public use alternate routes if possible.

The roadway on MR 35 at west of Clarabelle road will be completely closed for the remainder of the investigation.

Police will update once the road is reopened.

Due to closure, the City of Greater Sudbury announced Transit Route 104 — Azilda/Chelmsford will detour via MR 80 through Val Caron via Valleyview Road/St. Laurent Street to Montee Rouleau.
