Municipal Road 55 between Hillcrest and Hwy 17 in the Lively area is now open. Greater Sudbury Police updated the closure in a tweet and said there were no injuries in the single vehicle collision that closed the road this morning just before 9 a.m.

A traffic note at this hour - Greater Sudbury Police said in a tweet issued at 8:50 a.m. Friday that both eastbound lanes of Municipal Road 55 between Hillcrest and Highway 17 in the Lively area are closed due to a collision.
Police ask that people find an alternate route.
