Several collisions this morning: Lasalle Blvd now clear following crash at Roy Street

Police urging motorists to drive slowly and according to conditions

Updated at 9:36 a.m.: GSPS advises that the crash on Lasalle Boulevard at Roy Street has been cleared and traffic flowing smoothly again.

Updated at 9:30 a.m.: The collision scene at Paris and Van Horne streets is now clear, Greater Sudbury Police said on Twitter at 9:18 a.m.

Updated at 9:10 a.m.: There's been a collision at the intersection of Lasalle Boulevard and Roy Avenue, Greater Sudbury Police said in a tweet at 9:06 a.m. Feb. 1.

The extent of injuries is unknown. Motorists will experience delays in the area, police said. "Please slow down and move over for emergency responders," the tweet said. "Proceed with caution in the area."

Updated at 8:35 a.m.: Police, fire and ambulance are responding to a crash in the busy intersection of Paris Street and Van Horne Street in the downtown core.

Drivers should expect delays or avoid the area if possible. Police are asking drivers to make room for emergency responders.

Updated at 8:30 a.m.: There's a vehicle in a snowbank on Falconbridge Road between Hawthorne Drive and Chalmers Street, Greater Sudbury Police said in a tweet at 8:08 a.m. Friday.

A tow truck is en route, police said.

"The vehicle is in a lane of traffic, however traffic is still flowing," said the tweet. "Motorists may experience delays in the area. Please slow down and drive with caution."
