One of three men allegedly involved in an assault and theft at a Hazel Street home Nov. 6 has been arrested, said Greater Sudbury Police Service.
Officers responded to a robbery at about 8:50 p.m. Two men were invited into the victim's home. The two suspects allegedly assaulted the victim and his brother with a prohibited weapon and stole money.
Both victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Police later learned that a third man was involved.
Police located one of the suspects in the Minnow Lake area. He was being held for bail and faces charges of robbery, weapons dangerous, aggravated assault, possession of a prohibited weapon, assault with a weapon and breach of probation.
Police aren't releasing his name at this time. Greater Sudbury Police Service's BEAR unit continues the investigation.
