Wanted: Convicted kidnapper known to frequent Sudbury is on the run

A convicted kidnapper known to frequent the Greater Sudbury area is on the run from police after breaching parole.

Reginald Heffern is serving a five-year sentence for kidnapping (unlawful confinement), assault causing bodily harm and for twice failing to comply with a probation order.

The OPP’s Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad is requesting the public's assistance in locating Heffern, who is being sought on a Canada-wide warrant. 

Heffern, 33, stands 5-11, and weighs 170 lbs. He has a fair complexion, blue eyes and blonde hair, though he currently has a shaved head. 

The offender is known to frequent the Greater Sudbury region.
