Wanted Wednesday: Man wanted for assault, threats, mischief and more

The Ontario Provincial Police and the Greater Sudbury Police Service have outstanding warrants for the arrest of Justin Beynen.

It is alleged that on June 30, the OPP responded to a call at the Wahnapitae Provincial Park north of Capreol due to an assault and threats. 

Justin Beynen assaulted another party causing a laceration. He threatened the injured person and caused damage to their vehicle by kicking it, causing a dent.

On July 17, the Greater Sudbury Police Service observed Beynen operating a motor vehicle on Paris Street. Officers recognized him and were aware the he is a prohibited driver and were following him without activating any lights.  

Beynen proceeded to drive away at a high rate of speed, going through numerous red lights and jumping a curb.    

Justin Beynen is known to be in the Greater Sudbury area.

He is wanted for:

  • Assault Cause Bodily Harm
  • Utter Threats
  • Mischief under $5,000
  • Dangerous Operation of a motor vehicle
  • Operation while prohibited (five counts)
