Greater Sudbury Police Service has an outstanding warrant for the arrest of 54-year-old Guy Seguin.
It is alleged that on Feb. 6, Guy Seguin was observed driving an SUV and pulling a trailer while under numerous suspensions. The plates on the vehicle were not registered to that vehicle.
Police attempted to stop Seguin at Notre Dame Avenue and Kathleen Street, and he accelerated to high speeds. Police did not pursue him due to potential danger of traffic and pedestrians.
The vehicle was observed to turn on Lasalle Boulevard at a high rate of speed causing the trailer to swing across the lanes and over the center median. The trailer was located unattached to the vehicle a few blocks away on a side street with its contents on the street, and the truck was found to be abandoned a few blocks further.
The truck was not registered to the Seguin and the trailer was stolen and not road-worthy.
